Steve,While I was recuperating from surgery at home from a broken hip last year. I tried to think of what I could do to keep
myself occupied, while recuperating, so I thought why not keep my hands busy. I asked my daughter to bring me some different
colours of yarn for making slippers for my family of nine. I had some finished slippers sitting on the table when the home
care ladies came to take care of the incision; they eyed the slippers and asked if they could have a pair of them. I answered
take your pick.Same thing when my therapy lady came by for my exercises, she also eyed the slippers again I said take your
pick, none of them had any knowledge of having homemade knitted slippers. My family members had to wait for theirs. They (my
family) got theirs in time for Christmas last year.So I thought of you, why not send you each a pair of slippers, along with
a hot pot holder to show my deep appreciation on the work you all have and are doing for me. If your winters are anything
